Day 2 (Business by day, terrified by night) Nothing quite describes the horribleness associated with an 8 am wakeup call when your body has not yet adjusted to a new time zone. (I know how I keep going on about passing out all the time, but it doesn’t seem to help.) Bigroundballs.com should sound familiar because I worked with them a year ago, when I lived in LA for the summer of 2011 to do an internship at 20th Century Fox. It is a non-profit charity that my dear friend Nicolas Putnam started with his friend Joel Lyftogt to help raise awareness and money for testicular cancer research. It's surprising to think that many of the online platforms we use daily and perhaps could not fathom living without have only existed for less than a century. For me, my guilty pleasure is YouTube. This phenomenon occurred when two programmers and one design student, Steve Chen, Jawed Karim, and Chad Hurley, respectively (of course the White guy is the designer..) brought YouTube to the public in February 2005. Have you ever wondered why you’ve stayed with that one guy or girl. In “Thanks Babe!” Moth to Flame explores a typical life in a typical couple’s day.
