The first few days of Los Angeles have been fun. LA welcomed me with open arms by showing me how difficult it is to park anywhere without getting a ticket. There is an interesting vibe in this city. Never have I been surrounded with so much art/entertainment based content. From street signs that say “Rent for Parking or Filming” to film sets, and crashing my friend’s Memorial Day party (filled with Actors, Writers, etc)… it has been an entertainment industry overload. I have been lucky to get an internship at 20th Century Fox International producing creative content. I do not know where this journey will take me. I just know that I want to meet a lot of people and hopefully learn something useful in the end. The hardest part about this journey thus far has been breaking the barriers of doubt. After the success of Gettin’ My MBA, I wanted to make a video that would include as many of my MBA classmates as possible. What better way than to showcase all the different student organized organizations at McCombs? Here is a compilation of the clubs that were able to donate their time and be a part of the film. Carlos Dinkins, who some have deemed my “muse”, asked me to help him make a video for MBA Revue. I of course agreed because he has dedicated so much of his time to be in my films. After watching a professor’s YouTube videos, we could not help but make this infomercial parodying Operations Management and the famous workout, P90X. I had the opportunity to use video transitions and horrible graphics in order to make this video come to life. Carlos killed it. –CC
