Moth to Flame worked with fellow classmates from the University of Texas McCombs business school (Austin) to film a fake commercial for a fake product called NatuRev. Being at business school definitely has its perks. You have an ample amount of students that you can get to volunteer for your projects. The best part is learning how to film quality commercials at lightening speed because the con about working with MBA students is that ALL of them are ridiculously busy. You should consider yourself lucky if you are able to capture more than an hour of time with these elusive…

Moth to Flame works with Graduate Women in Business and other UT McCombs students to showcase why women should be leaders! kidney disease treatment It is amazing how fast time goes. I feel like I have accomplished so much, yet so little at the same time. This weekend, I worked with my fellow MBA women to create a Girl Scouts spec to inspire girls ages 10-18 to step up and take leadership positions. Can you believe that less and less women are doing so? Women are not only beautiful, but also strong and intelligent. We are capable of achieving anything…

So this is not my typical video log. I haven’t done one in a while. School and filmmaking (and really anything non-school related) is really hard to balance. I am always torn between what has to be done and what I really want to get done. The best is when you get to combine what has to be done with what you really want to do, which in this case is making a video for one of my classes (Law & Ethics). In our class, my group had to present a case on child labor, so I decided to make…

The first tailgate of the season for UT McCombs was epic. The food was great, the music was great, the game (was still great, though Rice lost), and most importantly the people were great. Great job to those who planned it. The increased tailgate price was definitely worth it. I dutifully supported my Rice compadres, but still wore some orange to show my support. UT definitely didn’t need any though. I was just there praying that Rice didn’t get crushed. My prayers unfortunately were not answered with UT winning 34 to 9. What a day. Go Rice Owls! Good job…

After the success of Gettin’ My MBA, I wanted to make a video that would include as many of my MBA classmates as possible. What better way than to showcase all the different student organized organizations at McCombs? Here is a compilation of the clubs that were able to donate their time and be a part of the film. Great work everyone.

Carlos Dinkins, who some have deemed my “muse”, asked me to help him make a video for MBA Revue. I of course agreed because he has dedicated so much of his time to be in my films. After watching a professor’s YouTube videos, we could not help but make this infomercial parodying Operations Management and the famous workout, P90X. I had the opportunity to use video transitions and horrible graphics in order to make this video come to life. Carlos killed it. –CC
