30 May Moth to Flame’s Kelsey Park Represents at Cannes Film Festival!

Moth to Flame has two of the most talented Kelsies in the world. We know you already heard of Kelsey Pribilski on CMT, but did you know that Kelsey Park, one of our editors, is living it up at the Cannes Film Festival? Ya, we are that awesome. Read below to hear about her experience.

Cannes Film Festival: Day 10

Despite the never ending rain at Cannes, I have been enjoying the past several days and having a wonderful time! From 8 am to 7 pm every day, we wait in line for tickets and we run around central Cannes for errands from delivering tickets for premieres/VIP parties to a certain company or an individual person to getting grocery/office supplies for the office. Between running around, we sit in on meetings with our CEO at his own office at the Marriott!! This is our view from our ICM office at the Marriott!

But the craziest part is waiting in line to get the invitation tickets. At 8 am we get in line for the red carpet premiere tickets using four of our company’s festival badges. The precedure is far from simple because the line does not officially start until 9:30am; thus, people get in line first at 8am and make an unofficial fake list and then transfer the list to the official sheet. At 10 am, we get called one by one into the ticket room to meet with the staff for the invitation only tickets. I’ve seen people fight in line, plan a strategy to get more tickets, lie to the staff but it’s all fun because I get to meet new people everyday since we would all wait together for two hours.

Today, we cleaned our office all day until 3:30 pm and then went to the movie premier for In the Mist. Now, I’m about to go Martin Solveig’s beach party! 😮

Typically once 7:30 pm hits, I head to the Grand Lumiere Theater to catch one of the amazing movie premieres and then head out for dinner. Depending on how much energy I have left after such a hectic day, I will tag on a beach/VIP party to wrap up the evening. Unfortunately, I practically get three hours of sleep every night, but because of all the excitement that surrounds me, I guess I somehow work around this circumstance.

Highlights (So far):

Running into Adrien Brody on the fourth floor of the Marriot and chatting with him for a while.
Meeting Roman Polanski at our ICM office.
Attending a million red carpet premiers including The Moonrise Kingdom, Rust and Bone, For Love’s Sake, Reality, Mystery, Holy Motors.

Partying at the Kanye West event at the Palm Beach Casino and seeing Kid Cudi perform live a feet away from me!

Interning!!

Enjoying delicious French food and drinking fantastic wine every night.

Staying at a hotel nearly on the beach
