After staying up and editing photos, I woke up late. 10 AM! I am so used to waking up at around 7 or 8 in the morning that I can definitely tell vacation is getting to me. Saturday equated to lazy day. I leisurely woke up and spent the first part of the day surfing the net, blogging, and editing photos. I am in general a major planner. For me, the habit developed through necessity and the nature of my personality (goal orientated/overachiever). You know the day is going to be awesome when a wet tongue wakes you up in the morning (a doggy tongue, you pervs)! To be a successful artist, one must have boring days. I have many of these days because I spend 99% of my time working. Fourth of July was in general a very chillaxing day. I woke up to the unpleasant noise of Leo (take a normal dog bark and amplify it 10X, that is how loud his bark is), Eric’s Korgie/Beagle mix, howling at the sound of sirens. 5:00 AM rolled around and sure enough, my friend, Nicolas Putnam was already on his way to pick me up for surfing. Despite going to bed the previous night fairly late, I surprisingly found it not difficult to wake up. I am sure the “first time” surfing nerves helped.
