After the success of Gettin’ My MBA, I wanted to make a video that would include as many of my MBA classmates as possible. What better way than to showcase all the different student organized organizations at McCombs? Here is a compilation of the clubs that were able to donate their time and be a part of the film. Great work everyone.

Carlos Dinkins, who some have deemed my “muse”, asked me to help him make a video for MBA Revue. I of course agreed because he has dedicated so much of his time to be in my films. After watching a professor’s YouTube videos, we could not help but make this infomercial parodying Operations Management and the famous workout, P90X. I had the opportunity to use video transitions and horrible graphics in order to make this video come to life. Carlos killed it. –CC

This was a project commissioned by MBA 2011 student, Aaron Lyons. Aaron Lyons is planning on launching a restaurant in the near future and wanted something that would generate buzz about his company. The special nature of this project was that everyone in the commercial were MBA students (1st and 2nd years). We shot everything in a matter of 4 hours. I am starting to build my film equipment collection and I believe this is the first film that really portrays the level of productive value I am able to achieve these days. I didn’t have a long time to film so I decided to cut together the “best” of first semester business school. Enjoy everyone. –CC

Project 0 is an experimental action film that seeks to challenge the constraints of budget and time. The purpose of this project is to create a feature long narrative in short (1-3 minute long) increments. We will write the story as we go. The film will be made with virtually no money and will be used to explore existing action film techniques and special fx. Back in March 2011, Hassan F. Johnson of ThaTrunk partnered up with director, Christine Chen, to create a mini-documentary series to kick off the launch of ThaTrunk.com. ThaTrunk.com is a digital music marketplace for driven Independent Hip Hop Artists that sells services normally offered by record labels. They are pretty awesome. Make sure to check them out. The project was a success and ThaTrunk.com kicked off their website with Drastik, a short documentary about a local hip-hop artist in Austin, Texas.
