This past weekend was filled with craziness. We had two big client sets happening on the same day. The following day, some of our team packed our bags and went off to Houston to film a short film, “Blind Date Rules.” More details about that later. We had the opportunity to work with Hewlett Packard and the Lean Six Sigma training team. The team approached us with a task to create a period piece based on their lead character Nick Ziesler. The goal was to show how Nick moved from period to period. Previously, the internal industrial video team had…

It took one short story, by Eric Hwang, written almost a decade ago and the right lead, Deke Garner, to spark the inspiration for this short film.   The screenplay, adapted by Christine Chen, will be shot in Shreveport, Louisiana, May 28-30, 2014. More updates to come. Here is our first official poster designed by Alicia Marshall.

In very little time, I…

The problem is traditional commercials do not do a good job telling a story in a way that compels us to connect emotionally.   But why do people watch the Super Bowl just to watch the commercials? Because commercials can tell stories and there are companies out there that are doing so. We at Moth to Flame believe that ALL commercials should tell a...

With the increase in startups in Austin, Texas, co-working spaces are popping up everywhere! Wandering around Austin with local magazine, Austin Phoenix, Moth to Flame had the opportunity to check out these very unique spaces. Each one of them had their own culture, from tight knit frat like environments to creative and designer spaces, we saw and captured them here in this video.   For more information about each individual space, check out the article by Austin Phoenix: Guide to Coworking Spaces
