Dear Diary,   Our first weekend of production on Funemployment, despite being stressful has been an incredible experience. I have spent the last few days recovering and reflecting on everything that has occurred thus far and the biggest conclusion that I have reached is that Moth to Flame is truly a blessed company.   It is a honor for me to work with and be surrounded by talent, crew, and friends who believe in Moth to Flame and our movie. I must say, several moments throughout filming, I felt like crying (and at some moments, did) because this dream that…

The beauty of being a filmmaker is that I get to relive experiences whenever I review and edit my footage. Sometimes this is not necessarily a positive thing, however, 90% of the time it is. Despite having to review approximately 50 hours, 1.5 Tb worth of footage, I welcomed it. India, a life changing experience in person and even more so through the camera. Here is what I came up with for my first pass at the footage (besides the trailer).   I hope it gives you as much joy watching it as it did for me editing. The music…

Steve Herron talks about his experience on his first set with Moth to Flame for some Crash the Superbowl Doritos specs that the team filmed this past weekend. The second idea “Don’t Eat Trash” was…

ThaTrunk.com is a digital music marketplace for driven Independent Hip Hop Artists that sells services normally offered by record labels. They are pretty awesome. Make sure to check them out. The project was a success and ThaTrunk.com kicked off their website with Drastik, a short documentary about a local hip-hop artist in Austin, Texas. The documentary was filmed during a span of a week and follows Drastik and his band “The Circle of…
