Chasing a dream and capitalizing on it is hard. The biggest lesson I learned in 2014 is that there comes a time when the business takes over the craft. Jason Cates'(Social Media/BTS/Set Sound) Resolutions 1. Make at least one original short film Last year began with a rather lengthy stint being a background extra on Revolution. Then going out to Shreveport to run sound for A Bird’s Nest. After that I ran sound on a few more productions, and also managed to film a little project of my own. On the first day of arriving in Shreveport to film A Bird’s Nest the crew went out into a wooded area where we would be filming a good portion of the film. We started by checking out the more accessible areas, then moved on to an area that we had to walk a good distance to the actual area we shot at. This sequence of photos was taken during that walk.

Here are Kellie Penna’s Resolutions for the New Year 1 Watch more Independent movies. I’ve never had a problem with going to the movies. Do it all the time, and my husband is always game. But we always see “mainstream” movies. Nothing wrong with that, I quite enjoy it. A look at the wedding anniversary of Mary and Mary… One of the first weddings Moth to Flame filmed was for a fellow McCombs colleague. Today marks the wedding anniversary of Mary and Marco. It was quite special since many of my classmates were in attendance – a mini McCombs get together. Hook em! On the set of the Blackbox Trainer Crowdfunding video The shoot for the Blackbox Trainer app went quite smoothly compared to previous shoots I’d been involved with in the past. We had everything pretty much set up before any of the talent had showed up, and the shot list all planned out from beginning to end.
