Project 0 is an experimental action film that seeks to challenge the constraints of budget and time. The purpose of this project is to create a feature long narrative in short (1-3 minute long) increments. We will write the story as we go. The film will be made with virtually no money and will be used to explore existing action film techniques and special fx. Be sure to check out our behind the scenes video and introduction about Project 0.

In 1994, National Geographic filmed the compelling documentary “Beyond the Clouds” about Lijiang, China. In 1995, Lijiang was struck by a devastating earthquake that registered 7.0 on the Richter scale, disrupting the lives of many in this beautiful and quaint city. This documentary seeks to show how the area nicknamed “Shangri-La” has changed and rebuilt itself in the recent years. Filmed in 2006, Christine Chen and Jo Ling Kent take a month long journey exploring Lijiang for Rice University. This is pretty much Christine Chen’s first official film.
